Mono Mondays: Backroom Slime
Share
On Mondays, we like to support our resident artist, Mono! They're an up-and-coming scribbler of things dark and weird, and we consider ourselves lucky to have leeched onto— er, formed a mutually beneficial relationship with them. You can watch Mono hard at work creating various pieces on their YouTube channel. For those who don't feel like watching digital paint getting splashed around, we'll be showcasing a different piece of theirs right here every Monday.
This week is going to sound a little promotional, but we assure you, we get nothing for this.

Mono watched Backrooms last week and apparently enjoyed it thoroughly. They were so enamored that they started thinking about what would happen if the Art Slime wound up stuck in the Backrooms. It is an interesting thought, since the Art Slime normally resides in two dimensions, and the Backrooms have rather more dimensions than that. The piece above is the result, with "Art" attempting to explore, even as the Backrooms do what they do best- make corrupted copies of our incautious little slime.
"Art" will be fine. Probably.
