Mono Mondays: "To the Deerest, Part Three"

On Mondays, we like to support our resident artist, Mono!  They're an up-and-coming scribbler of things dark and weird, and we consider ourselves lucky to have leeched onto— er, formed a mutually beneficial relationship with them.  You can watch Mono hard at work creating various pieces on their YouTube channel.  For those who don't feel like watching digital paint getting splashed around, we'll be showcasing a different piece of theirs right here every Monday.

This week's work:  "To the Deerest, Part Three"

Mono explains that the youngest of the three is a "greedy one," possessed of many legs that allow them to quickly grab what it is they crave.  "Their eyesight is not the best," Mono says, so if you encounter the youngest on a dark night, "Distract them by throwing something or dropping something."  With any luck, they'll rely on their sharp hearing and rush the noise, allowing you to find somewhere to hide... because with eight legs, running might not be the best option.

This is the last of Mono's trilogy of deer, competing to see which deserves the Apple of Discord.  Which do you think deserves the title of "Deerest?"  And will you be making your decision based on personal opinion?  Or will you, like Paris, let your heart sway you?

In this particular judgment, the pounding of your heart will probably be for different reasons than his.
