Mono Mondays: "To the Deerest, Part Two"
Share
On Mondays, we like to support our resident artist, Mono! They're an up-and-coming scribbler of things dark and weird, and we consider ourselves lucky to have leeched onto— er, formed a mutually beneficial relationship with them. You can watch Mono hard at work creating various pieces on their YouTube channel. For those who don't feel like watching digital paint getting splashed around, we'll be showcasing a different piece of theirs right here every Monday.
This week's work: "To the Deerest, Part Two"

We talked about the eldest of the three last week, and this week we are introduced to the middle child. Mono says of this one in particular, "[He's] a perfectionist, which is why he's stitched together at certain points and looks symmetrical. It also explains why he's not touching the apple, to make sure it's not dirty or cracked, like how the eldest handled the apple."
Of course! Who doesn't know someone who has, ah, had a little work done to enhance their perfection? And we're sure everyone can think of that one cousin who, um, developed magical and/or psychic powers to avoid germs. Everything here seems perfectly normal!
Tune in next week for a look at the last of the three siblings, and in the meantime, feel free to consider whether it is the eldest or the middle child who most deserves the title of "Deerest" One.
