Mono Mondays: Top Down

On Mondays, we like to support our resident artist, Mono!  They're an up-and-coming scribbler of things dark and weird, and we consider ourselves lucky to have leeched onto— er, formed a mutually beneficial relationship with them.  You can watch Mono hard at work creating various pieces on their YouTube channel.  For those who don't feel like watching digital paint getting splashed around, we'll be showcasing a different piece of theirs right here every Monday.

For a little bit now, we've been showcasing art by Mono that is connected through lore and shared concepts.  Consider this one a palette cleanser.

There's no deeper, hidden meaning behind this one; Mono simply looked through a microscope at a clump of dirt, thought it looked a bit like an aerial view, and decided it would be fun to practice top-down perspectives over a fog-filled landscape.  The result is a little busy, but you don't need to search for a deeper meaning.

Unless you start asking what exactly is under the deepest layer of fog.  In that case, you're on your own.
