Mono Mondays: Collab

Mono Mondays: Collab

On Mondays, we like to support our resident artist, Mono!  They're an up-and-coming scribbler of things dark and weird, and we consider ourselves lucky to have leeched onto— er, formed a mutually beneficial relationship with them.  You can watch Mono hard at work creating various pieces on their YouTube channel.  For those who don't feel like watching digital paint getting splashed around, we'll be showcasing a different piece of theirs right here every Monday.

This week features a collaboration between two artists.

As may have been noted, Mono is a firm believer in the theory that every dragon is unique.  This can be the result of how the dragon is born, but it can also be due to the type of magic it likes to hoard.  A case in point is the art dragon above, which likes to both hoard and create magical paintings (and paint supplies).  As can be expected, this particular dragon gets along quite well with Art the Slime.  Above you can see them working together to decide how a magical creature called a "Craw" should be drawn.  Our favorite bit about this piece are the Art Dragon's stained-glass wings, which are quite pretty but do raise questions about how functional they would be.
